Purpose of role

  • to achieve sales goals  & contribution targets, on short and long term, for a specific region or for specific customer types or for specific Egemin solutions in China
  • to establish the best possible relationships between customers and Egemin and elaborate a strong network of partners
  • to pro-actively manage the customer base (customers, partners & prospects)

Responsibilities of role

Business level:
  • Applies the business strategy in terms of customer segmentation and product-offering
  • Makes a sales plan on how to approach the market

Sales level:
  • Identifies new opportunities for Egemin (existing customers (customers, partners  & prospects)
  • Sells projects & solutions based on Egemin’s technology and concepts and within the frame of Egemin’s strategy
  • Meets/exceeds sales targets
  • Manages the sales processes and is responsible for the correct execution of them whereby Egemin’s guidelines are applied closely & accurately
  • Makes professional presentations, quotations and other relevant documents to be successful
  • Negotiates on a high level to the best possible interests of Egemin in short & long term

Technical level:
  • Expands and improves the relationships between Egemin and the customers
  • Makes sure being up to date on technical level (skills)
  • Translates questions and problems of customers into valuable solutions
  • Works closely together with Sales Support and/or Product Managers of Egemin

Financial level:
  • Monitors Turnover (sales targets) and BCM (margin)

Reporting level:
  • Reports to the General Manager of Egemin Shanghai directly
  • Uses Egemin’s IT-tools (CRM)


  • University degree in engineering
  • 10+ years of professional experience in sales
  • Excellent market knowledge about “intra logistics” .Target customers are pharmaceutical companies, Food & Beverage, and Printing
  • Professional communication skill with clients
  • Excellent problem solving, presentation, communication and business analysis skills
  • International business practices and MNC working experience
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Team player
  • Willing to travel frequently within China (and overseas from time to time)
